Glass Beaded Earrings, 1950s, AustriaThese earclips are made of blue and clear glass beads. Trough a lucky occasion I was able to purchase some jewelry made of glass beads. The jewelry is from the fifties and was sold in an exclusive store in Venice. The beads are not Murano beads though, but probably by Swarovski , Austria. The glass beads have a very high quality cutand the way they are woven is unusual and very beautiful. The beads are strung on nylon, the clasps are made of metal.
